About the Challenge
Buildings account for approximately 40% of US carbon emissions. In this challenge, you will design HVAC control agents using Google's open-source building simulator to minimize carbon emissions and operating costs while maintaining comfortable building conditions.
Your solution could have massive real-world environmental impact. The winning team will be invited to give a talk at the AI-DEEDS 2026 workshop!

How to Submit
- Develop your HVAC control agent using the simulator
- Write a short paper (up to 4 pages) describing your approach
- Submit your paper to the Smart Buildings track on HotCRP
- Include a link to your code repository in the submission
